always on the hunt for lost cuts and new talents, dexter colt is a mainstay in the singapore scene and a familiar face across asia, having shared his sounds at celebrated venues in the region such as mitsuki (tokyo), west harlem (kyoto), mihn (hong kong), pawnshop (taipei), and savage (hanoi). dexter colt has released several eps since his debut in 2023 on his own labels as well as low recordings (los angeles), hek.db (tokyo), and morsecode (seoul), with a number of projects slated for 2026.
"Over the past year or so I've been focused on digging deeper into my record collection - I'm still buying lots of records and new music, but have been prioritising pulling out gems that have been sitting on my shelves for time over being on top of all the latest releases.
It's been really rewarding and has made me feel closer to the music that I own, and this mix encapsulates this change in my approach. An hour of deep dance records across house, techno, tech house, minimal, and raw electronix, featuring a bunch of B-sides and slept on cuts, with moments of darkness and light."
