"this mix is inspired by the scent of rain during japan's rainy season. every year, from june to july, persistent rainfall transforms the atmosphere of the city.
streets that are usually vibrant and crowded become quieter, revealing a different side of tokyo. this session explores that contrast — the subtle gap between the city's usual energy and the stillness brought by the rain.
built around jazz, acid house, and minimal house, the mix combines urban textures with hypnotic grooves and moments of restrained intensity. it evokes the feeling of driving through tokyo's expressways on a rainy night: fast-moving yet introspective, with a quiet tension running beneath the surface. like rainfall itself, the energy rises and falls naturally, with moments of dancefloor momentum dissolving back into calm, reflective spaces."
