DAWS

Melbourne

daws is a dj and producer known for her ability to effortlessly bridge gaps between expansive sounds and cross artistic boundaries. celebrated by australia's lgbtqi+ community, and the wider electronic scene, she is a versatile artist crafting blissful yet introspective sets, experimenting and fusing sounds across house, techno, progressive house and trance.

from her beginnings in sun-soaked boorloo (perth) to the gritty dancefloors of naarm (melbourne), where she is now based, her dj sets carry the spirit of both cities-bridging coastal warmth with underground intensity. her dj sets showcase the overlap between her sonic worlds, igniting dancefloors at festivals such as pitch music and arts, wide open spaces, and sydney mardi gras, and playing clubs including lofi in amsterdam, la terrazza in barcelona, and night tales in london.

daws released her debut ep ultra feeling on hot haus recs in 2023, solidifying her talent for melding sonic themes that simultaneously electrify a club dancefloor and pull listeners into a reflective, emotive space. daws's sound is an unexpected balance between playful and serious. last year she released her ep touch of sapphic on jennifer cardini's label correspondant, and is dropping another ep in 2026.

her own label adh unlimited has quickly become an essential for djs, releasing dancefloor-ready edits from artists across the globe while raising money for charity. daws curates releases that channel pop and well-known tracks to the club, aimed at uniting the dancefloor and building connection across genres and sounds.

"This mix reflects how I’ve been feeling lately. Recorded while traveling through South America, it’s a nostalgic return to the slower tracks I gravitated toward when I first started DJing.

Recently, I’ve been connecting more with tracks around 120 BPM and finding space between club sets to sit with slower music.

While I’m still drawn to faster, more percussive tracks, this mix leans into something warmer and more atmospheric: classic house textures that unfold gradually from a slow start."
